About Brenton
Brenton is the founder of Breeze and an Accredited Clinical Exercise Physiologist with a passion for health and movement.
Originally a country boy from Sale in Gippsland, he made his move to Geelong to complete Exercise and Sport Science with Honours. Throughout his undergraduate years Brenton was able to gain experience in the industry at gyms and community health centres whilst playing football at VFL level with Geelong Cats. It was through these years in which Brenton discovered that Exercise Physiology was his passion, being able to use exercise as medicine, helping those in need and impact lives positively.
Brenton is a highly caring individual and has a strong interest in all conditions, ranging from musculoskeletal complaints such as low back, knee pain and plantar fasciitis to Type 2 diabetes management. Brenton has a special interest in osteoporosis and exercise for mental health and the impact exercise has on the brain.
Being an active person himself, he loves to see patients with goals of improving performance, running or younger athletes. In addition to his days at Breeze, Brenton is a casual teacher at Deakin University for Exercise and Sport Science. Brenton loves spending time with family, watching sport, playing soccer, reading and spending time in nature with his two yellow labradors, Fred and Stella.
